Regional Strategy 2010


Consultation on the Regional Strategy for England's Northwest was carried out in February 2010. A joint response from Northwest Transition Initiatives to the consultation was submitted. Read it here.

Core Strategy 2010


In February 2010, Wirral Council consulted on the Spatial Options section of its Local Development Framework Core Strategy. A joint response was prepared by Wirral Transition Initiatives.

In March 2009, Wirral Council consulted on the Issues, Vision and Objectives section of its Local Development Framework Core Strategy.

Council Liaison


Representatives from TTWK met with Cllr Peter Reisdorf and Wirral Council's Energy Manager and Climate Change Officer in October 2009 to discuss potential areas for joint working.

The basis of joint working was agreed formed around: information sharing; raising awareness; and, where appropriate, informing and supporting each others events and activities by distributing leaflets and/or posters or providing information at climate change themed events.
