10:10 campaign
Wirral Council was the first council in Merseyside to sign up to the UK-wide 10:10 campaign in September 2009. Sign up as an individual, orgainisation or business at http://www.1010uk.org.

Council Liaison


Representatives from TTWK met with Cllr Peter Reisdorf and Wirral Council's Energy Manager and Climate Change Officer in October 2009 to discuss potential areas for joint working.

The basis of joint working was agreed formed around: information sharing; raising awareness; and, where appropriate, informing and supporting each others events and activities by distributing leaflets and/or posters or providing information at climate change themed events.

Core Strategy 2010


In February 2010, Wirral Council consulted on the Spatial Options section of its Local Development Framework Core Strategy. A joint response was prepared by Wirral Transition Initiatives.
